Ugh.
Family Guy, the epitome of once greatness that has since fallen way past it's prime.
I never did find it very humorous to begin with, but I will admit pre-2005 stuff is pretty good. To me...it just relies way too much on random humor, something I'm not very fond of. I mean, sure, a guy fighting another guy in a chicken suit is great, but how does that have to do with anything that's going on? Not to mention that the show's running gags last WAY too long. I don't want to hear Seth McFarlane's (Stewie's) voice constantly raising to such an annoying pitch talking about a novel for ten fucking minutes. It's not funny anymore. It's ANNOYING. And the part where Peter tripped and hurt his knee? Another prime example.
Meh, I guess some find that slapstick style randomness to be funny. I'd much prefer the stylings of relevant, plot-based humor akin to Futurama. You can be funny without being off the wall or redundant.
